Bot Watch 1.2.0 by Pitchfork-and-Torch. Effective 15 August 2026.

Bot Watch is an unofficial iPhone and Apple Watch companion for glancing at Bot status and approvals. It is not an xAI product and is not the official Grok Bot app.

What we collect

Version 1.2.0 can run in demo mode with no account. Demo data is generated on device. If you later use optional live Bots, the app stores only what it needs to work:

• A short-lived access token in the Keychain on iPhone
• Bot names, status, clipped summaries, and approval titles on the Watch
• A last-known snapshot in the App Group so complications and the Watch still work offline

The Watch does not store full drafts, email bodies, refresh tokens, or vendor passwords. Full threads stay on iPhone and desktop.

What we do not collect

• No advertising identifiers
• No analytics or crash telemetry in version 1.2.0
• No tracking across apps or websites

Where data lives

Demo data stays on device. Optional live Bots talk to Grok Bot on a computer you choose on your own Wi-Fi. We do not operate a separate analytics backend.

Your choices

Disconnect or sign out to clear the session and Watch cache. Delete the app to remove local files and Keychain items for this app.
